ConvertFilesNow is designed to be private. All file conversions happen entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see, access, or store them.

The only data we touch is:

• Anonymous traffic data via our hosting provider (IP address, user agent in access logs) — used to keep the site running and prevent abuse.
• Language preference stored in a browser cookie (cfn-lang) so we remember your language choice.
• Cookie consent stored in a browser cookie (cfn-consent) when you accept or decline cookies.

We do not require accounts, do not profile users, and do not sell data.

• cfn-lang — stores your language. Strictly necessary.
• cfn-consent — stores your cookie consent. Strictly necessary.

If we add advertising in the future (Google AdSense), additional cookies may be set by those services. Those cookies are subject to the third party's privacy policy and are only loaded if you accept them via our cookie banner.

Third-party services

The site loads code from third parties:

• FFmpeg.wasm core from unpkg.com — powers in-browser video and audio conversion. Your files are not sent to unpkg; only the encoder code is downloaded to your browser.
• Google AdSense (if/when enabled): may collect data for personalized advertising. See Google's policies.
• Cloud picker SDKs (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive): loaded only if you click the corresponding tab. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

• Know what personal data we hold (we hold none from you besides the cookies listed)
